100% BEESWAX CANDLES, HANDDIPPED.

Usually, on a candle making day, we start to heat the beeswax before we make our coffee in the morning.  By lunchtime, the studio is filled with a delicious buttery-honey smell. The bees gather round to watch.  After many hours, when the beeswax is fully melted, we carefully dip each hemp wick into the wax miltible times, building up a thick coating, creating our hand-dipped candles.This method, although lengthy, creates a beautiful textured detail.

Negative ions are good to our health. We all feel alive when near moving water – like a natural spring, when it rains, walking near the ocean or simply in the woods.
This is all caused by negative ions being in action.  Negative ions counteract positive ions and free radicals that positive ions cause. The negative ions grab onto the positive ions and float them down to the ground. They can then be hovered up, leaving the air toxin-and-odor free.
A very similar effect can be reached when burning a beeswax candle. Beeswax candles, when burned, emit an abundance of negative ions to the air and since they are made from natural resources (unlike paraffin candles), they do not emit dangerous soot, smoke or chemical residue.

This leaves us feeling invigorated, healthier and energized.
